The Arrow® T-POD™ Pelvic Stabilization Device from Teleflex provides circumferential compression to the pelvis

 in patients with suspected pelvic fracture.

The T-POD utilizes laces activated with a single pull tab that provides circumferential compression for stabilization of

a fractured pelvic region and aids in pain reduction associated with a pelvic fracture treatment

Prompt pelvic binder use for a suspected pelvic injury is recommended before definitive imaging is available,

as a cervical spine collar is used to protect the cervical spine from further injury prior to definitive identification

and characterization of an injury..

In the acute setting, the T-POD® device has a clear compressive effect on the pelvic volume in unstable pelvic fractures.

The T-POD® is therefore an effective and easy to use device in (temporarily) stabilizing the pelvic ring in haemodynamically

unstable patients.
