Designed for rescueing from cliffs, gorges or canyons using 11mm kernmantel sataic rope

The TYROMONT fibre-rope winch is designed for a safe working load of 300 kg (at a safety-factor of 6,5).

Optimum working range  100m  to 250m

Rope diameter minimum 10.5mm, recommended 11.00mm Kermantel rope with miumum breaking strength 2200kg

Light weight and easy to anchor in position

The Silvretta self tailing winch provides two gear ratios :-

Ratio 1  32 to 1  Using this ratio one peron can lift two persons

Ratio 2  6.1 to 1  Use this ratio with light loads or with two persons on the crank for faster  lifting

The Safety clamp is self acting and closes automatically should the person tailing reduce rope tension or drop the rope

The unit easily handles a join or knot in the rope with the aid of a rope blocker (Refer to the Instruction manual)
